This thread will be for all minor changes that affect the server. This thread will be constantly posted in and maintained by the Administrator team.
Any major changes will be posted in another thread and/or in the announcements channel on the server discord.

Playtime:
  • Playtime has been restored! We have restored the playtime as best we could even though the data was corrupted. Obviously the playtime acquired while the plugin was disabled will not be counted towards your current playtime statistics. If you notice that your playtime is not as accurate as you remember, and you have some type of verifiable evidence, please contact an admin with the evidence and we will adjust your playtime.
Easter Eggs:
  • There are a few easter eggs in spawn! These look like easter egg player heads. Right click on them and you will get one point! You can check how many points you have by doing /eggs. You can spend these points on items at the Easter Egg Shop! Right click on the bunny (named Easter Bunny) at spawn to open the shop. The easter eggs will spawn when you find an egg. They can spawn on the first floor of spawn including the player shops, and the spawn buildings, so make sure to look everywhere. Happy Hunting!

This is mostly stuff that broke during the update. I've spend the last few days just patching things up.
- Donation automation is fixed.
- Any urls on https://www.urbanmc.net:8080/* (like bookmarks) now redirect to https://urbanmc.net/*.
- Registrations should work again.

  • Red and brown mushrooms can now be bought / sold at the farmer for the same price as cocoa beans.
  • There are now announcements for vote shop and vote party double mcmmo at the 30 minute, 10 minute, 5 minute and expiry marks.
  • There is now a broadcast only after 4 of the 5 sites have been voted on, rather than one broadcast per site.

Economy:
  • ATMs: A long-requested feature has been added. This has been out for a while already but you can now either purchase it from the Bank Teller or run /buyatm in-game (both will do the same thing) for 200,000 gold. Here's a quote of its description by Elian, "Portable ATMs will allow players to put the bank in their town, to give their town members ease of access to money, and of course, to flex on the other towns. They will allow you to switch access between any player who stumbles upon it, only members of your town, or only members of your nation. Anyone who has "switch" permissions on the plot can modify this option, so please keep that in mind.". To cycle through access (town, nation, all), just shift-right click on the atm.
  • Gold Pouches: Another long-requested feature! You can purchase this from the Bank Teller or run /buypouch in-game to purchase a gold pouch for 2,500 gold taken from your inventory. A gold pouch is a gold shulker-box and when you click on it you will be able store gold in it to purchase things or trade.
  • Deposit All Button: There is now a deposit all paper button in the ATM inventory which will deposit all the gold in your inventory to the bank. This is under the normal Deposit paper button.
NPCShop:
  • ATMs in Bank Teller (will run /buyatm)
  • Gold Pouches in Bank Teller (will run /buypouch)
KingdomWars:
  • Fixed permission to accept/deny truces
TreasureHunter:
  • Fixed bug with canceling treasure hunting.
  • Fixed grammar on the /th status message.

  • Fixed /plot set reset not working
  • Fixed outsiders being able to use dropped-items to activate pressure plates.
  • Fixed outsiders being able to fishing rod players in their town (note: only prevents fishing players that are standing in their own town, not other towns).
mcMMO:

  • Treasure items have been updated for June!
Gameplay Mechanics:
  • Hopper rates are now back to normal!

Economy
  • /bal will now include any gold pouches stored in your enderchest for your enderchest balance (note: gold in enderchest not used for transactions)
  • Transactions over 50,000 (deposits or withdrawals) will automatically revert to your personal bank. Buying ATMs should be a lot easier now along with any other expensive items in the future.

mcMMO:
  • Added /mmocombat which allows you toggle skill bonuses used in combat. This includes damage buffs in combat as well as damage reducing passive skills. To check if a player has skill bonuses off or on do /mmocombat [player]. This may not negate all abilities, so to ensure an mcmmo-free combat experience make sure to use /mcability to toggle abilities off as well. Note, toggling off the combat bonus will not persist through a restart.
DiscordBot:
  • Donor roles that were only temporary should now get removed properly.
NPCShop:
  • Checking for sufficient inventory space when buying items now occurs before charging you for those items.

World Border:
  • Can no longer PVP tag through the world border
Portals:
  • They actually work now
ezTime:
  • Weather / time is now per-world. This means it will only affect the world you are in, and only players within that world will receive the notification. You can not use ezTime in the nether or end.
  • Added two new times: dusk, and dawn.
Marriage:
  • Marry chat format has been reverted back to the original style.
LockettePro:
  • Added /lockette notify which will toggle notification to lock chests when you place them down. This does not persist through a restart.
Game Mechanics:
  • Bye-bye bats
  • Prevent moving into unloaded chunks. This is to prevent the server from lagging even more during high activity.

  • Cooldowns are now per-world

  • Fix teleport bug
  • Fix god not being disabled when you attacked someone
EggCatcher:
  • Can catch tamed mobs (that are on the catch list) if you own them.
  • Can catch cats now.

Game Mechanics:
  • Creepers and Endermen no longer freeze when the server is lagging like other mobs may.

  • God in the earth nether is disabled. (This was a bug, it should have not been enabled in the first place)

SignShop:
  • Switched back to using SignShop for player trading rather than TradeShop.

Towny:
  • Nation Zones: NationZones, which surrounds towns part of a nation, are just like normal wilderness except the only players which can modify the area are members of the nation. This is useful to prevent greifing near to towns who have a nation. NationZones can be increased in size by increasing the population of the nation (initially start off with 1 chunk radius surrounding a town, and then at higher populated nations it changes to 2 chunks).
  • Nation tags must now be exactly 4 letters long (Towny update)

Discord Bot:
  • Fix nation text channels omitting the read permission for some members.

Dynmap:
  • Nations can now set their own color. I want to say it's like
    Code:
    /n set color [color]
    , but don't quote me on that.

Showcase:
  • Fixed showcasing in towns / nations

Player Warps:
  • Changed cost of creating a player warp to 20k.

RPG Horses:
  • Cost of claiming a horse is now 1k.

Kingdom Wars:
  • Made some changes to reduce fake proxy wars.
    • The cost to start a war is now 10,000 which will not be received back if the declaring nation wins a war.
    • New nations now have a 2hr grace period during which they cannot be warred.
    • Townblock rewards have been adjusted so that a losing nation cannot result in a 0 townblock nation bonus. This means that nations with a townblock bonus of 10 will not lose any townblocks if they lose a war, nor will the winning nation gain any townblocks.

RPGHorses:
  • Unclaiming horses will now reset them to their base stats
  • Added a speed cap which is the speed at which players can sprint-fly. Claimed horses above this value will be reset to the cap. This is to mainly to fix the bug above.

Current Status on 1.16:
We are still in the process of testing it. 1.16.2 was recently released and we have decided that it would just be better to update straight to that (since it is a minor release version), however we do need to wait for the server software to be thoroughly tested before then.
We will continue to test on 1.16.1 to make sure that all the plugins work and also to determine how to balance the items added into 1.16 with the server gameplay environment.
We will reset both nethers, and the end (full reset, so a new dragon egg will drop) when we update to 1.16.

  • Should work for the new 1.16 wooden doors and signs.


Both Towny and Creative were updated to 1.16.1 today. The nether and end worlds in Towny were reset as well. One nether world and the end will be reset once every month starting from now on.
